7 p.m.
Winner of 11 Tony Awards, including best musical, score, book, direction and with a record-setting Broadway run, Fiddler has become an American classic.
Fiddler on The Roof is the story of Tevye, the loquacious father of five daughters, who fights to maintain his family and their traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives. He must cope both with his strong-willed daughters—as each one’s choice of husband moves further from tradition—and with the edict of a tyrannical and unjust Tsar.
Join us for this community-wide, multi-generational performance at First United Methodist Church of Allen, 601 S Greenville Ave, Allen TX. This production stars Doug Smetzer as Tevye and Kim Mathews as Golde, along with a 45-member cast and a 30-piece orchestra.
Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the door, at the church office during regular office hours, or on Sunday mornings between worship services. Read more online at http://fumcallen.org/floating11.php
