After the hustle and bustle of the holidays and all the rich food, January is the time for lighter fare. The January Technique Classes at Williams-Sonoma at Stonebriar Centre will help start the New Year off right, with recipes and inspiration for eating well. In addition, for kids aged 5 to 14, Williams-Sonoma offers Saturday classes designed to encourage the young chefs in the kitchen and the retailer is introducing a new Return to Learn series. There is no charge for any of the classes.
Technique Classes held on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. include:
· STEAMING & POACHING ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 11. This class is for everyone who has resolved to eat well in the New Year. Williams-Sonoma experts share tips and nutritious and delicious recipes for steaming fresh vegetables and poaching fruits.
· HEALTHY EATING: JUICING ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 18. Packed with vitamins and nutrients, a glass of freshly made juice is a healthy way to start the day and it makes a wholesome afternoon pick-me-up. The class demonstrates how easy it is to create fruit and vegetable juices at home.
· SUPER BOWL: TOUCHDOWN TASTES! ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 25. Fans will cheer this delicious game-day fare. Attendees learn how to prepare healthier fried foods with the new Williams-Sonoma fryer, along with make-ahead appetizers that will satisfy a hungry crowd.

Junior Chef Classes on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. include:
· GRANOLA BARS MADE EASY ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 11.
· JUICING 101 ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 18.
· HOMEMADE CHICKEN FINGERS ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 25.
Junior Chef Classes are designed for children ages five to 15. Reservations are encouraged and there is no charge to attend.
Return to Learn Series on Saturdays at 2 p.m. include:
· ESPRESSO ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 11.
· JUICERS ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 18.
· COOKWARE ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 25.
Class size for the Return to Learn series is limited. There is no charge to attend, but reservations are required.
Participants enjoy 10% savings on select same-day store purchases. Individuals who wish to attend are asked to make a reservation by the Thursday before the Saturday class.
